XIE Deqiong, female, bachelor of arts, graduated from the department of foreign languages, Sichuan Normal University in 1987. After graduation, worked as an English teacher at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China as well as a marketing senior executive at China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park Co. Ltd successively. Has been teaching at Nanjing Audit University (NAU) since February 2000. Once participated in auditing the United Nations under the leadership of the National Audit Office of the People’s Republic of China.

Since teaching at NAU in February 2000, courses presented are as following: College English, Business English, English Newspaper and Magazine Reading, Introduction to Foreign Audit and Supervision System, Reading Instruction to Common Sense etc.
Research:
Main research fields cover the College English Teaching and the Translation of Audit English to Chinese. Published independent papers are: The Value of Detailed Report of CET 4&6 Is Not to Be Under-Estimated, Building a Positive Linguistic Environment on Campuses, A Discussion about Individualized College English Curriculum and Current Situation of English Writing Teaching in Universities and Its Improving Strategies, etc.
Awards:
Has won the following awards since worked at NAU since February 2000, the First Prize of NAU Teaching Competition, NAU Teaching Quality Award, the Third Prize of NAU Micro Class Competition, the Third Prize of Teaching Star of Regional English Teaching Competition organized by Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press, Mentoring Awards of the Outstanding and the First Prize respectively at the National College English Competition.etc.
