Gong Aihua, an associate professor, graduated from the English Department of Jiangxi Normal University in 1994. After graduation she was assigned to teach in Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics where she furthered her studies and obtained a Master Degree majoring in international trade in 1999. In 2002 she was transferred to work in Nanjing Audit University. She was once engaged in administrative work and held positions as the Vice Dean of College English Department and Party Branch Secretary. In 2006 she went to Australia and studied in Queensland University of Technology as a visiting scholar.

Courses presented:

Ever since she came here, she has mainly taught such courses as College English (I-VI), E-C and C-E translation, A Practical English Training Course for Postgraduate Entrance Examination, etc. Her academic research centers on English teaching, translation theory and practice.

Research:

So far she has published about ten academic papers in various journals including CSSCI. Besides, she is actively involved in research projects on provincial and school level. She edited a reference book on English vocabulary and cooperated with colleagues in editing and translating several other books.

Awards:

She was once awarded the title of “Excellent Party Affairs Worker” and “Excellent Worker”.
